We received a offer immediately and the sale was complete again without a hitch. All in all I am so glad to have been able to work with Mike and his team and will recommend him to all my friends and family who need help with real estate buying or selling. Bottom line: you won't find anyone better when you're looking for a house. Mike has the right balance of knowledge, patience, and negotiation savvy. With other realtors at best you'll get two out of three of those qualities, and often even less. I know because we worked with four other agents over the course of a couple years before we met Mike. We had a long housing search because we were doing it long distance and flying down when we could. We'd find listings online, contact our previous realtors and they'd open the doors for us (usually, though often they'd fail to schedule showings). One day when my previous agent wasn't free I went to see a listing in Eagle Rock that happened to be Mike's, and we started talking. It was immediately obvious he knew not just everything about the local real estate market but he knew the people as well -- the realtors, the lenders, the contractors, and more -- and was interested in finding us what we were looking for. From then on, when we'd ask him about a house, he'd often go and see it the next day on his own and give us an honest take on whether it was worth us flying down to see. He was always available to patiently answer our (sometimes long-winded) questions and would give us a thoughtful assessment of each house. Once we finally had an offer accepted and we found issues during inspections, Mike was tough yet fair with the sellers and got us a great price. In the long and sometimes trying process that was our housing search, Mike was the one person who made it all better.

I'm so glad I worked with Mike on my first home purchase. The whole process of being a first time buyer in LA was so daunting. When I started working with Mike after meeting a couple other realtors, I finally felt like this home buying thing was going to work out. We couldn't have imagined a better agent. This was our first time buying, and we really didn't know what to expect from a real estate agent. He showed up to our first tour with a packet of research he had already done on the home and area. He also had a game plan and a strategy. He brought this thoroughness to every property we viewed. This was our first time buying a home, so we had absolutely zero clues as to what to do. I feel very lucky to have picked Ash as our agent. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience with home purchases including home loans, and made the whole buying experience very painless. He is always very courteous, never pushy, and is quick to answer any questions. We had some issues with our loan from our first bank (I hate you Bank of America!), but because of Ash's quick thinking and action, he was able to help us secure a loan through a different bank.
